The Charges d'Affaires of the Argentine Embassy, Minister Leandro Waisman, visited the National Space Test Facility of the Australian National University Institute for Space and met with representatives of the university to exchange information and identify possible areas for cooperation. Among the issues discussed were the use of images of the Argentine SAOCOM satellites for bushfire detection, cooperation with Argentine research institutions and cooperation in the use of satellite images in the agriculture sector.
