The Argentine Secretary for the Malvinas Islands, Antarctica and South Atlantic, Daniel Filmus, participated in the event commemorating Argentine Antarctica Day together with the Defence Minister,  Agustin Rossi, and the Culture Minister, Tristán Bauer , in in which they held a dialogue with scientific and military heads of the six permanent bases:
