Ibero-american countries reiterated their call for the resumption of negotiations between Argentina and the United Kingdom to solve the sovereignty dispute over the Malvinas
During the 27th Ibero-American Summit, the countries of the forum reiterated -through a Special Statement on the Question of the Malvinas Islands- their call for the resumption of negotiations between Argentina and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in order to find a prompt solution to the sovereignty dispute over the Malvinas, South Georgias, and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding maritime areas, duly taking into account the resolutions of the United Nations and the Organization of American States, as well as the provisions and objectives of the United Nations Charter, including the principle of territorial integrity.

Argentina rejects new missile launches by the United Kingdom in the Malvinas Islands
The Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed through a statement that the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland carried out, from April 26 to 28, military operations in illegally occupied Argentine territory, including the launch of Rapier missiles from the Malvinas Islands.

Video On May 6, the Argentine Ambassador to Nigeria, Alejandro Herrero, held a presentation on the Malvinas Question at the University of Abuja before the students and professors of the Faculty of History, International Relations and International Law. The course “Malvinas, Antarctica and South Atlantic: geopolitics, sovereignty and development in the twenty-first century” was opened, aimed at teachers from universities all over Argentina. The opening was attended by the Secretary of Malvinas, Antarctica and South Atlantic of the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Daniel Filmus, the coordinator of the Quality Promotion Unit of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), Marcelo Miguez, and the Secretary General of the Federation of University Teachers (FEDUN), Daniel Ricci.
