As part of the Argentine Republic’s immunization campaign against COVID-19, the Digital Vaccination Certificate will be available for all vaccinated people through the “Mi Argentina” (“My Argentina”) app, along with information such as first and last name, identification document number, vaccine received, dose, batch, place and dates of vaccination.

As of 6 September, this digital certificate will be operational in bilingual format (Spanish/English) for anyone vaccinated in Argentina in order to be presented abroad for citizens and residents that must travel internationally. Additionally, this document is verifiable via QR code which specifies its content, the scope of the certificate, the applicable legal framework and the details of the information contained, as included in the Nominalized Federal Register of Vaccinations (NOMIVAC).

It is worth noting that the Digital Vaccination Certificate accessible in the “Mi Argentina” app presents interoperability between the Ministry of Health system and the identity identification system of the National Registry of Persons, allowing for consultation to the appropriate authorities in case of doubts regarding the content.

The “Mi Argentina” app is the digital citizen profile for interacting with government agencies, including booking appointments and receiving personalized information. It currently has over 10 million users and, in addition to the vaccination certificate, allows citizens access to other digital documentation, such as the national identification document, automobile registration document and driving license.
