From March 19 to 24, 2017, the Vice-president of Argentina, Ms. Gabriela Michetti, visited Australia.

During the visit, the Vice-president Michetti met with the Governor-General, Sir Peter Cosgrove; the Prime Minister, Malcom Turnbull; the President of the Senate, Stephen Parry, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tony Smith; authorities of the High Court; the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources, Barnaby Joyce; the Minister for Social Services,Christian Porter; the Minister for Women, Michaelia Cash; the leader of the Opposition Bill Shorten, and the members of the Opposition, Australian entrepreneurs and investors.

Among the Delegation accompanying the Vice-president, there was four Secretaries of State (Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Industry and Mining) and Representatives of the Ministry of Finance and the Argentine Investment and Trade Promotion Agency.
