During 2016 we are celebrating the Bicentenary of Argentina’s Independence. To commemorate this very important milestone the Embassy of Argentina presented, together with the Canberra International Music Festival, two concerts:

- On April 29, at the Festival's Gala, the concert "Tango Tambucco", with music of Astor Piazzolla, and

- On may 7, the concert "Argentina Magica: Alberto Ginastera", to commemorate also the Centenary of Argentine composer and musician Alberto Ginastera.
