From the 28 till the 30 of April, 2016, H.E. the Ambassador of Argentina to Australia, Hugo J. Gobbi, took part in a trip to Tasmania, hosted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Hon. Julie Bishop.
The event gathered 83 Ambassadors and High Commissioners. Towards the promotion of economic and trade relations with Tasmania, the potential and the capabilities of this Australian State, its entrepreneurship and its institutions, to attract investments, supply goods and services and commercial opportunities, were highlighted.
Contacts were established with companies from the food and beverages, as well as from the shipbuilding sectors.
During the visit to the Australian Antarctic Division, there was a briefing on the main features of Australia's policies towards the Antarctica and the cooperation programmes carried out by Australia with third countries.
