On 30 September the Argentine pianist Marcela Fiorillo performed a concert in tribute to the legendary Argentine composer and tango revolutionary Astor Piazzolla. The concert took place at the Wesley Music Centre in Canberra and was the first one in her world tour as she will also offer concerts in New Zealand and Argentina to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of Piazzolla’s demise.
The concert in New Zealand will take place on 6 October, at 6:30pm, in the St. Andrew’s on The Terrace (30 The Terrace, Wellington) and her tour will culminate with two concerts at the Usina del Arte, Buenos Aires on 26 November and 8 December.
