July 18 marks the 26th anniversary of the attack on the AMIA headquarters, where 85 Argentines were murdered and that left a great number of victims, survivors and family members with terrible wounds. We honor their memory each year.

The international community cannot coexist with terrorism because it disrupts democratic coexistence and causes innocent victims.

It is a deep wound for Argentina not being able to achieve Justice. We cannot remain at peace when the victims are demanding that those responsible be brought to justice for what they have done.

As a country strongly committed to the promotion and protection of human rights, we reaffirm on this new anniversary our firm pursuit of truth and justice, to honor the memory of the victims, establish preventive mechanisms and remedy human rights violations.
