The Embassy of Argentina in Australia, together with the Consulate General in Sidney, celebrated the 212th anniversary of the May Revolution, with the collaboration of the facilities and services provided by the City Tattersalls Group.
The event included the attendance of representatives from Australia’s diplomatic, political, business and cultural circles, based primarily in New South Wales.
The guests had the opportunity to try many different brands of Argentine wines, provided by Daniela Penno (Founder, Artisan Malbec) Ignacio Galeano (Sales Manager - Asia & Oceanía, Grupo Peñaflor), Frank Pieruszka (Managing Director, San Telmo Cellars), Gonzalo Larre (Operations Manager, Sol y Vino) and Benjamín García (Marketing Manager, WOCA).
Also present were the sommeliers Rodrigo Ocano and Ben Moechtar to provide the guests information about the wines that were served.
We also thank Guido Kreimer (Vice President, Asia International Sales de Saputo Dairy Australia) for the selection of cheeses, and Fernando Sarrabayrouse (Rosa Traders) for providing the yerba mate, the alfajors, the biscuits and the “dulce de leche”.
The artists Silvia Gabriela, Fabio Robles and Michelle Di Monte provided a touch of tango with their performances.
