The Undersecretariat of Electric Energy of Argentina has launched a national and international public tender for the sale of 50% of the shares of CITELEC S.A., the controlling company of Transener S.A., Argentina’s main electricity transmission company, which transports approximately 86% of the country’s electricity.

 

This sale is part of a broader process of restructuring and modernizing Argentina’s energy sector.
